Yesterday, I asked Noodle to put away the silverware from the dishwasher to which she replied, "Why do I always have to do all the work around this house?" I calmly explained that being part of a family means everyone has to do a job to take care of the house. She looked at me sternly and crossed her arms in defiance.
"Not me! I just won't do it!" she said.
"Well," I replied, "I guess you're going to be in trouble a whole lot."
Noodle's resolve crumbled. "But I just don't want to do everything around here," she said.
"Oh, okay." I turned around and rolled my eyes. Gee, it's amazing Noodle lets us live with her, for all the trouble we put her through!

LOL that is too funny! That reminds me of something Grace said once. It was the night before the wedding she was in and my sister-in-law's mom was talking to Grace and was asking her of she could help do this and help do that for the wedding. Grace I guess felt overwhelmed by the requests and said, "Well, I'm not Jesus you know!"
