Hallelujah Candy!

Check out my little froggies! I made the eyes by wrapping green felt around headbands and styrofoam balls. I glued them on with a hot glue gun. The feet are also felt that I cut out and tied to their shoes with thread through the holes in the crocs. Later in the afternoon, I sprayed their hair green with temporary hair "paint" and put it up in two ponytails. They were thrilled with their costumes. Hopers even wore her headband all evening for the festival!

And speaking of Hopers at the festival, she became a crazed candy-addict from the moment we allowed her to pop one of those sugary morsels into her mouth. She cared nothing for rides or hundreds of children to play with. She just wanted CANDY! She ran from bucket to bucket, each time becoming more and more selective of her treats....one Smarties here, six lollipops there... I finally had to cut her off. It was a little scary seeing that wild gleam in her eye when I took the treat sack from her sticky hands -- like drug addict being hauled away to rehab. By the time we got home, her sugar rush crashed so hard that I don't think she moved an inch once I put her in bed!

they are both so cute! You are amazingly crafty... not that you didn't already know that. I'm really good at buying lots of sports equipment for Jeremy's costumes. :) To each, their own (I guess).

They sho is cute. I still can't get over how contagious noodle's smile is.

I could easily see it put in a psyche class on the mirroring effect. I'm seeing a smile as bright as an atom bomb and I'm smiling against my will.
