Did you know Pluto is no longer a planet? Nothing about Pluto changed. We didn't gain any new knowledge about Pluto. Some poofy-haired old men just decided that it no longer met their definition of a planet. It's now a dwarf planet. Seems a little mean to me. Prejudice against small planets! It's because people are all getting bigger and fatter now. Everything else better keep up, or else, SMACK! You're demoted from the Solar System.
But as the article I read says, "If a raincoat is still a coat, and a cellphone is still a phone, then why is a dwarf planet not a planet?" Noodle has given us this excellent illustration to express her concern.

I was taught "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas".... Now it's just "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine". That makes no sense at all! We need a new Solar System acronym thing.
