A Follow-Up Note About Blueberry Pickin'

We brought home almost 2 pounds of blueberries as I previously described. I washed them and dumped them into a large collander, stuck them in the refrigerator, and made my plans to pick up a few items to make a blueberry pie. I managed to keep the kids from eating more than a few handfuls the next day, but still didn't quite get around to making that pie.

Well, the next morning I woke up to the sound of Hopers playing in the living room, already awake and running about. Noodle was still in her room. And there, sitting on the coffee table, completely empty and clean as a whistle, was the very collander I had previously filled with blueberries.

Yes, my child ate at least a pound and a half of blueberries in one sitting.

She happily admitted to the the deed with a cute little smile, and it was confirmed by her older sister who is always ready to lend a hand (or point a finger).

After that, she still wanted breakfast.

So it's not vital that you wake up before they do, right?

Why that Hopers! Well then you should just eat her then, I sure would.

I sure wouldn't want to be on diaper duty for the next day or so! LOL!!!

Or potty duty! Yikes!

Better get those pie ingredients before the next berry picking trip.

Holy Moly! Sounds exactly what Nate would do, which is why he has a tent thing on his bed. Other wise he would be wandering about the house getting into lots of trouble.
