Hopers' Dictionary: Slippy Soup

slip*py soup ('slip-pee soop) n. a thin soup made from green or yellow dried split peas, usually with vegetables (most commonly carrots) and pieces of ham

Today's Example: I really like slippy soup, Mommy. It's yum-mee!

How funny. I love language learning in children. There are some funny things Karis says that we purposefully don't correct her in cuz we find it so entertaining :-)

I'm sure I'be probably told you this, but my favorite thing Sweetness said was stwawbabies instead of strawberries. It was a sad day when she quit.

It's wonderful that you're chronicling (sp?) her learning! I tried to write things down when Bex was little, but failed miserably. Wish I had done more.
