Greener with a Touch of Pink

I've been working furiously on my backyard, so I thought ya'll might like an update.

Remember those cast iron plants and the liriope? Well I've added more. Still all free stuff too, which is even better. There are now cast iron plants under the girls' treehouse. There are now multiple kinds of liriope planted in rings around the corners of the yard. I've also implemented liriope as my official border for any flower beds from here out.

Please ignore the ugly shed AND the desert wasteland that is the center area of my backyard. Still trying to figure out how to get some grass there without having to sell my children first. Moving on...

These are my new miniature azalea bushes. I already forgot what their "special" name is. I just liked 'em. My yard needed some color. They were on sale! I actually used to say to myself that azaleas are only pretty for 3 weeks out of the year, and the rest of the time they are a rather unattractive bush--therefore I would never plant them. Oh well. I was wrong. I'm learning that "never" is a word I should never use. It's also one of those words that gets weirder the more you say it and type it. Ne v e r .

O.k. I'm gonna have to come over and look. That doesn't even look like your yard to me.

Wow, looks great! I also am a part of the "I'll never have azaylias in my yard club" and would also have already planted them in my yard if they were available here:-) They look great!
