Hail to the... oh nevermind.

Yesterday was a stormy day here in Tally. The sky really fell hard for about and hour. Oh, and when I say it fell hard, I mean painfully...like, hail. It was nothing big though. The hail was about the size of my fingernail and smaller. Round.

However, it reminded me about a storm we'd had several months back in the fall. The rain came down in buckets and so did the hail. Not only that, it was the most unusual hail I've ever seen!

Maybe I haven't seen enough hail in my life, but I thought that it was supposed to be round-ish. This stuff was alien, with arms jutting out from all sides. Tons of it too, with every one sporting this amoeba-like shape.

Let me know if you've ever seen hail that looked like this. I'm curious.
