Hey, you know that cute little outfit that my little sister from China is wearing in the picture? Well, we discovered that all of the children who were selected for adoption and photographed were wearing that exact same outfit. It seems that since the children were all about the same weight and height, they just bought one or two outfits for picture day, dressed one kid, snapped some pictures, stripped 'em down, put the outfit on the next kid, snapped some pictures... You get the idea. It's sad. It makes me wonder what she really wears every day, because there wasn't anything special about the clothes she had on in the pic.
Some good news though, my parents sent word through the agency to the orphanage to please not shave little sister's head (apparently this is customary to do right before the child leaves the orpahange to make her hair grow back thicker and longer). The orphanage sent word back that they would not. Yea! Score one for the family!

she's sooo cute! i bet your parents are so glad to finally be nearing the end and getting their baby. jason and i have talked about adopting a little girl from China one day.
we should throw your mom a baby shower. :)
I'm behind on reading your blog! OK, so they do that head shaving thing for the same reasons here in South Asia for the girls... and then they keep long hair on the boys and put their hair in pig tails... go figure!
